Merging with nature

We were entitled to redesign a cemetery in Černošice near Prague. We started with the idea that the place of the last rest does not have to be a symbol of sadness and hardship. We set the horizontal stone monuments rising from the ground up in different heights to evoke harmonic waves that rise slightly above the surface and decrease elsewhere, until they blend into the open landscape and turn into a scattering meadow.
