Villa Kouřimka got a spa treatment – and a new café
The 1910s Art Noveau house, designed by the renowned architect Josef Fanta, had been in desperate need of a revitalization. As an object of cultural heritage located in the heart of the spa town Poděbrady, we felt it deserved a nip-and-tuck of its own in order to be revived and, in fact, saved. Our project then centred around transforming the garage space into an elegant café with its own winter garden, as well as completing the interiors in a sensitive manner.
